Meet Dr. Cody McBee

cody and the babiesDr. Cody McBee became a chiropractor due to severe scoliosis as a child.

As a teenager, he underwent back surgery and a Harrington Rod was implanted along his spinal column.

Later in life, he was introduced to chiropractic care and learned that chiropractic treatment can detect and correct spinal, joint and muscular conditions without surgery or pharmaceutical drugs.

This experience has allowed Dr. McBee to bring a unique perspective to his chiropractic practice.

Being a chiropractor is a physically demanding job. After hearing Dr. McBee’s story and seeing his spinal X-rays, patients are amazed at how Dr. McBee continues to be so active all these years after major back surgery. Well, Dr. McBee is a true believer of the benefits of chiropractic care, and he faithfully “practices what he preaches.” Dr. McBee receives chiropractic adjustments on a consistent basis. He also exercises regularly, wears custom-made foot orthotics to stabilize the foundation of his body (his feet), and he uses nutritional supplements to support his spinal health and energy. Because of Dr. McBee’s personal experience with spinal surgery, he has a real passion in helping others restore and maintain their health so they can lead an active lifestyle without pain.

Dr. McBee has received advanced training in the field of Chiropractic Orthopedics. He specializes in treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal and joint conditions due to poor spinal structure, sports injuries, auto accidents and even general “wear and tear” of the body. Dr. McBee is extremely knowledgeable about exercise physiology and how to properly perform exercises to rehabilitate an injured area of the body or to maintain wellness and optimize physical performance.

Dr. McBee also has an extensive background in radiology, and he keeps current on the latest techniques in taking and reading patient X-rays. For many years, Dr. McBee performed independent medical-legal examinations on injured workers and wrote medical-legal reports that included his treatment recommendations.

Dr. McBee has an avid interest in whole food and herbal supplementation, and how it can positively impact a patient’s overall health and well-being. He has been practicing Nutritional Response Testing for over 27 years. He enjoys counseling patients on making better food choices and recommending appropriate whole food supplements and/or herbs to improve health, maintain wellness and achieve the patient’s wellness goals. Dr. McBee has found that chiropractic care, exercise and proper nutrition all go hand-in-hand in helping people alleviate many musculoskeletal conditions.

Dr. Cody McBee has been in private practice since 1982. He is a graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, California.
